Explore this site to learn more about our town and get a sense for the many things to do, the options for lodging, restaurants, shops and galleries. After learning more, you will understand why Henry David Thoreau and Henry Beston spent so much time exploring and writing about the outer Cape and Eastham.

We are located on outer Cape Cod, approximately 90 miles southeast of Boston. Known as the "Gateway to the National Seashore", Eastham is still considered a small town (pop. 4980) and prides itself on being a bit more quiet than most Cape towns. The New York Times called Eastham "Cape Cod's Little Secret".
